2018 RUSSIAN FIFA WORLD CUP

 2018 is a special year for everyone in the world, its been four years since the last world cup in Brazil.
The 2018 FIFA World cup will be the 21st FIFA World cup, a quadrennial international football tournament contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. FIFA World cup qualification series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA confederations to decide 31 of 32 teams which will play, with Russia qualifying automatically as hosts.

Terrible news is that South Africa(Bafana Bafana) is not amongst the 31 teams, that means it didn't qualified as usual because when we check the stats of world cup it last qualified in 2002 except 2010 as a host. The world cup will commence on the 14th June to 15th July 2018 with Russia vs Saudi Arabia.


Looking on the date of the world cup many questions vivid in my mind about June holidays I'm not sure whether they will be long enough as planed at Walter Sisulu University, judging from the nature of the school as we known as world's striking university. Which team do you wish to take the champion this time?

    It's sad that south Africa did not qualify to play during this year's world cup. I think it is not meant to be.

    Bafana Bafana makes us to be ashamed of the team because of its performance but I think that if the team can hire internationally coaches so as to provide them with different and high level of skills

    I'm happy that South Africa didn't make it, our country is full of corruption. I also heard that South Africa was not supposed to be part of the 2010 World Cup even though it was hosting because they did not qualify too. It was also corruption that made it there. Seemingly South Africa will never be allowed to any World cup.

    Yes it is sad that Bafana Bafana won't represent us in the World Cup this year but there will be alot of fun in this coming World Cup. I can't wait for it.

Over 30 Caught in Huge Forest Fire at Theni in Tamil Nadu, Air Force called in.

CHENNAI:   thirty-six people, mostly students, were caught in a massive forest fire in Theni distrit of Tamil Nadu on Sunday evening. seven women students have been rescued, they have taken to the Theni hospital. In the group, there were 25 women and 3 children who went on a trek organised by the Chennai Trekking club, the collector said. The group was trapped in forest fire on their way back on Sunday. A MI-17 chopper of the Indian Air Force is already on its way from Sulur, to assess the situation say sources in the defence ministry. On a request from Chief Minister Palanisami, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman instructed the Indian Air Force to help in rescue and evacuation of students. A senior police officer has told NDTV, that 27 students from Chennai has gone for trekking but "they did not take permission from the police or the forest department."
